Rocket engine & propulsion component machining

Falcon CNC LLC machines complex, flight-critical propulsion hardware from Inconel, Monel, titanium and other high-performance alloys, backed by the AS9100D quality system, ITAR compliance and traceability that space programs require. Based in Mesa, Arizona.

WHAT WE MAKE

Propulsion hardware we machine

Typical component families include:

01

Combustion chamber components

Chamber, liner and throat-region parts held to tight geometric tolerances in nickel superalloys.

02

Injector components

Dense hole patterns, precision orifices and intricate internal passages machined with repeatable accuracy.

03

Turbomachinery parts

Housings, impellers and rotating hardware with complex 5-axis surfaces and demanding finishes.

04

Manifolds & fluid hardware

Valve bodies, manifolds and fittings with cross-drilled ports and leak-critical sealing surfaces.

05

Nozzle & structural hardware

Flanges, rings, mounts and brackets: large and thin-walled parts that must hold shape under load.

06

Assemblies & subassemblies

Build-to-print assemblies with full traceability, kitted and inspected before they ship.

WHY FALCON CNC

Built for the demands of space hardware

Propulsion parts combine the hardest-to-machine alloys with the tightest requirements: thin walls, deep features, complex internal passages and surfaces that must survive extreme heat, pressure and vibration.

Our programmers, machinists and inspectors work as one team on every job, from manufacturability review and CAM programming through first article and final inspection, so parts arrive right the first time.

Because launch hardware leaves no room for surprises, we keep complete traceability from material certification to final inspection, and we control foreign object debris (FOD) throughout manufacturing and packaging.

What you can count on

High strength-to-weight for structures and rotating hardware.

FAQ

Rocket engine machining: common questions

We machine combustion chamber and nozzle components, injector parts, turbomachinery housings and rotating hardware, manifolds, valve bodies and fluid fittings, structural flanges, rings and brackets, and build-to-print assemblies, primarily in nickel superalloys, Monel and titanium.

Propulsion hardware sees extreme temperatures, high pressures and aggressive propellants. Nickel superalloys such as Inconel 718 and 625 keep their strength at high temperatures and resist oxidation and corrosion, while Monel is valued for corrosion resistance and oxygen compatibility, and titanium for its strength-to-weight ratio.
